Stop Child Predators

Get Involved

For many of our nation's young people, child predators are a real part of their lives and their memory. Each year more than 300,000 children in the United States are sexually abused, and one in five girls and one in ten boys will be sexually exploited before they reach adulthood.

Stop Child Predators works to end these grim statistics and prevent crimes against children. Add your voice to those of other concerned citizens to help us bring about real change by:

  • Educating parents and communities on emerging online child safety issues and empower them to protect their children's privacy and safety through our Stop Internet Predators Program.
  • Organizing forums and seminars, providing educational materials and instruction, producing articles, papers and earned media, supplying expert testimony and developing targeted federal and state campaigns that focus on the prevention of crimes against children through our Child Safety and Awareness Programs.
  • Promoting Jessica's Law, including mandatory sentencing and GPS monitoring, an integrated nationwide registry of sex offenders and supporting penalty enhancements for the possession and distribution of child pornography and other crimes through our Legislative Outreach and Grassroots Activism Activities.

Children should not live in fear of child predation. It is our sincere hope at Stop Child Predators that ALL of our nation's children live safe and happy lives.

With your continued support of our work, together, we will STOP CHILD PREDATORS.

  1. Under "About Us" "Partners" partnering groups need to match homepage, or do away with those listed on that page and leave only on the homepage. Americans for Technology Leadership should be added as a partner: http://www.stopchildpredators.org/about/resources.htm
  2. Under "News" please change the navigational tool to read "Newsroom." We need a list of options on the newsroom page to be: Blog, Facebook, Newsletter & Articles, Press Releases & Opinion Editorials, Twitter, Videos. I like the format of something like this: http://www.house.gov/towns/news.shtml although am open to other suggestions.
  3. In the January newsletter, the "read more" option doesn't work in the president's message:
