Registration: Adults and juveniles; 2 tiers; within 10 days of release or entry into state; if convicted of federal offense or court martial, within 21 days of establishing resident; foreign convictions not registrable; notification of changes: 10 days, incoming and outgoing also

Notification: passive; mandatory; no specified time frame; applicable to sex offenders, childe predators, and sexually violent predators

Risk Designation: no specified tiers; no provision for hearing

Tracking: verification of registry info 90 days or annually; duration of registration 10 years or life; FBI notified

Residency Requirements: applies to sexually violent predators; prohibits presence on public or private school property, or any motor vehicle used to transport students when children are present; prohibits residing with 1,000 feet of public or private elementary or secondary school, day care facility, playground, public or private youth center, public swimming pool or free standing video arcade facility

Penalties: First offense 1-5 years in jail and fine; subsequent offense 3-10 years in jail without parole or probation
