Notification: passive; mandatory; no specified time frame; applicable to adults and juveniles (unless relieved by a hearing) sex offenders; offender required to notify law enforcement for college where attending or working within 48 hours after arriving
Risk Designation: no specified tiers; offenders may petition for status change after 10 yrs of serving, hearing provided upon request for juveniles
Tracking: verification of registry info 90 days for violent or annually after end of incarceration, by mail within 10 days of receipt; duration of registration rests upon petition after 15 years (not allowed for violent or repeat offenders) or life; FBI notified
