Regulations
Registration: Adults; 2 tiers; upon release, parole or probation; consideration of foreign convictions not specified; notification of changes: within 10 days, incoming and outgoing
Notification: active; mandatory for levels 2 and 3, and must notify victim; within 10 days; applicable to adult sexually violent predators and juveniles who engaged in certain sex crimes; offender required to notify law enforcement for college where attending or working within 10 days
Risk Designation: 3 specified tiers; hearing required
Tracking: verification of registry info 90 days for sexually violent predators and annually for offenders, in person; duration of registration 10 years or life
Penalties: 10-year registrants: 3rd degree felony; lifetime registrants: 1st degree felony, and shall get lifetime probation, may get lifetime incarceration
